Sporting Clays Classic

I would like to announce a new Online Registration System for Kawida.org. We're still in the testing stages, and we will be for awhile. Our first "test-run" will be used for the Council Sporting Clays Classic. The Event is free to attending Kawida Lodge Arrowmen, but you have to be willing to work! We'll be setting up teams of youth & adult Arrowmen to work the different shooting stations. You need to be in a full Class A Uniform when you arrive, and also have a smile in your pocket! Summer & The >>------->

If you ask most Arrowmen what events we have during the summer, they'll come up with no answer. The summer is a busy time for Kawida Lodge. Every Tuesday, we offer a Brotherhood Conversion at Camp McKee. We also have two Ordeals during the course of summer camp. The first, being last weekend, went really well. Twenty new Ordeal Members, and two new Brotherhood Members. Next weekend, July 9th & 10th, we have our last Summer Camp Ordeal. We look forward to seeing as many Attending Members, and Ordeal Candidates there!

Spring Ordeal a Success!

What better way to show "cheerful service" than to come to an Ordeal. That's what 46 Arrowmen did this past weekend at Camp McKee. Not only did we have 46 Attending Members, but we had 36 candidates go through their Ordeal. We also had 8 Brotherhood Conversions! Add those numbers up for a grand total of 86 people at Spring Ordeal. In recent years, that's a new record for our Spring Ordeal.

So much service was provided during the Ordeal to better Camp McKee. The largest project was setting up every tent in Camp for the up-coming Summer Camp Season. We would like to thank everyone in attendance for all the work and service they provided.
